Preschool

Children of the World is an affordable in-home daycare providing a Montessori centered education. The preschool focuses on a standard but holistic styled preschool education. This includes:

• communication and language.

• physical development.

• personal, social and emotional development.

• literacy.

• mathematics.

• understanding the world.

• expressive arts and design.

 

A typical daily schedule for a two year old would be:

• 6:50-7:00 Arrival

• 8:00-9:00 Free play activity  

• 9:00-10:00 Circle time/Small Group Activities

• 10:00-10:30 Snack

• 10:30- 12:00 Math/Small Group Activities

• 12:00-1:00 Lunch/Play

• 1:00-2:00 Nap

• 2:00-3:00 Language teacher 

• 3:00-4:00 Art

• 4:00-6:00 Free play

We also provide a foreign language teacher (for an extra fee) if the families are interested. We would give families options on what language they would like their child to learn. We would have an hour of lesson every day.
