As a parent, you have the option of choosing an African language teacher for your child. The teacher will teach in Tirginya or Amharic (or another language that's offered). The Afrocentric Language education happens daily for one hour. It is a full immersion of the language. The teacher, a native speaker, will play games, do creative projects, read books in the language of choice.
Our goal with the preschool is to nourish and empower your child in developmental education with a sense of cultural community and belonging. Our approach to the African Centered Education is about embracing a positive psychology and positive education towards oneself (and others).
